Towel questions, answered
Sizes, care, and how to pick the right towel for a trip, a bathroom or a kitchen. Answers that depend on product specifications are marked and will be completed once specs are confirmed.
Choosing a towel
Four collections. Cruise & Travel covers cruise towels, quick-dry towels, compact travel towels and travel bundles. Beach & Pool covers oversized beach towels, cabana towels, quick-dry beach towels and family sets. Home covers bath towels, hand towels, washcloths, bath towel sets and guest towels. Kitchen covers kitchen towels and dish towels.
Start with where you’ll use it. For travel, prioritise drying speed and packed size over thickness. For a bathroom, prioritise size and weight. For a beach or pool, prioritise surface area. For a kitchen, prioritise absorbency and how well it survives frequent washing.
Yes — our bath towels are designed for daily use and repeated washing without losing softness or absorbency.
Sizes & dimensions
A bath sheet is simply a larger bath towel — more surface area, more wrap, more drying time and more space in the wash. A bath towel is the standard everyday size. Cruisewear’s exact dimensions per size are listed on each product page.
Most people are comfortable with our standard Bath size for daily use; if you prefer more coverage or a spa-style wrap, choose Bath Sheet.
Hand towels are sized for quick drying at a sink — bathroom, kitchen or cabin — and pair well with a matching bath towel.
An oversized or cabana-size towel gives enough room to lie on a lounger comfortably, while still packing down for a beach bag.
Travel & cruise
A lighter, quick-dry towel. Cabin bathrooms have limited airflow, so a heavy plush towel often stays damp for the rest of the day. A compact towel also frees up case space for the return trip.
Bath towels are sized for everyday drying at home; beach towels are larger and more tightly woven to handle sand, sun and repeated outdoor use.
Some cruise lines provide pool and cabin towels, but availability and quality vary by line — many travellers still prefer to bring reliable, quick-dry travel towels of their own, especially for excursions.
Drying time depends on the exact weave — we’ll publish tested figures here once confirmed.
Washing & care
Full wash and care instructions are being finalised per product line and will be published here.
Most towels perform well for one to two years with regular use; replace sooner if you notice reduced absorbency or thinning fabric.
Kitchen towels
Look for absorbency and durability under frequent washing — our kitchen towels are woven to hold up to daily use in a busy kitchen.
In practice the terms are used interchangeably; both refer to smaller, highly absorbent towels for drying dishes, hands and countertops.
Orders & shipping
Shipping zones and delivery estimates will be published here once finalised.
Return details will be published here once our policy is finalised — see the Refund & Returns page to start a request in the meantime.
